The Erlangen campus of the FAU owns a collection of mathematical objects and models representing many different mathematical areas. Some of the objects can be visited at the Math building during opening hours for free, while a catalogue is available online (in German).
A collection of historical mathematical models located at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen. It includes about 540 exhibits spanning from the 18th to the 21st century and covers all areas of mathematics. The collection also contains more than 60 mathematical instruments.
Access to the model collection in Göttingen is free and is part of the public space of the Mathematical Institute, Bunsenstrasse 3-5, 37073 Göttingen, and may be visited by anyone within the opening hours of the institute.

The Institut Henry Poincaré owns a collection of around 600 physical models, representing objects from various mathematical areas. Some of these objects are visible at the IHP Library (free to visit during opening hours) and at the Maison Poincaré Museum (part of the permanent exhibition), both in Paris.
